Why did you go into acting?

Francis

Well, i grew up to discover that i also have the gift as well as every other person in my family. Everyone in my family has artistic or dramatic traits if you choose to call it that and we exhibit it in various ways in our family meetings, day to day activities and any other possible means that we can make people feel and enjoy our interaction or company. For me, my friends and anyone that comes close to me cannot help but laugh and end up with the advice that i should go into acting. Apart from the numerous advices I recieved, i discovered that there are a whole lot of benefits that come with acting and considering the fact that i can make a living with it, i decide to take a bold step by going fully into the profession.

I studied economics in ekpoma university.

What were your challenges?

Francis

Wow! Breaking through the already established walls was not funny at all, but God and his gift in me made easy provision for me.

Which of your jobs will you call your best?

Francis

Well, i have had so many good movies and can hardly mention anyone as best. I do good movies.

Nolly

Which of your movies will you say fell below your rating.

Francis

I still need jobs and will not want to spoil my market by mentioning anyone’s movie as bad, each of my movies have their different themes and values.

What do you like about your job?

Francis

Wow! (Laughs) you cant imagine the fame and fortune it brings. Sometimes i go to places and people will go out of their way to favour me, like i walk into a bank in little or no time you will see me out. Different attendants asking me to come for their service and ignoring others present. Sometimes too i go to places to eat and people will be contesting to pay for my meal. Even if i be wizard, why i no go like my job?

What is your most embarrassing moment?

Francis

Fans can embarrass artiste o!, to a point were if you cannot manage your temper, you’ll loose it. The one moment i will not forget was the day i was going to church and someone ran up to me and held me across my shoulder in excitement looking for a photographer to take a shot. Men, that was really embarrassing, but what do i do, i made them love me and that love is what they are expressing. I just have to take it.

Your word for the younger ones

Francis

Know god, work hard, you must also have the talent and don’t come into the industry fooling yourself. If you desire it and do not have the talent then go for training before think of practicing, then will the doors of fame and fortune be open to you.
